A king with no crown…
There was a time when I was known for white hair, but I rarely wear it these days. Since I was freaking out over the sheer ethereal beauty of this Nathan skin by Tableau Vivant, I thought that my usual black hair would be too stark for it, and right I was. There’s a time and a (vampiric) place for black hair with pale skin, but this look ain’t it.
Since I’m featuring a skin here, the rest of the look is simple. There’s also no editing whatsoever, since you need to see what it looks like without any Photoshop tweaks and tweezes. And, in all honesty? It doesn’t need tweaking, because it’s damn near fucking androgyne-perfect.
The skin comes in Tableau Vivant’s usual gorgeous skintone range (including a couple of amazing fantasy shades: a rich near-black, and a glowing dark silver). Pick up the demos and work your way through them. If you’re anything like me, you’ll waver between about four different shades and end up buying more than one. I’ll definitely be going back for those fantasy shades.
By the way, there is no hair whatsoever – save the eyebrows – on this skin. It’s shaved completely bare. Mmmm, sensitive ;-)
Speaking of ‘buying the lot’, I finally sprang for the full fatpack of Slink’s new male mesh hands. Sure, until male skin-makers start creating appliers we’re limited to trying to match as best we can (and the new Slink HUD is pretty damn amazing at that; check out Siddean Munro’s tutorial video or this page on the Slink blog to see how easy it is) but boy, am I glad I didn’t have to edit the awful avatar mesh thumb spikes…
