Suited and Booted

I’ll hold my whisky up high, kiss the bartender twice

I’m gonna marry the night.
I won’t give up on my life.
I’m a warrior queen.
Live passionately tonight.

Just for a break from all the futuristic stuff I decided to don feathers and fluff and glam it up to the max. New releases from IKON, Ane, The Plastik, and The Stringer Mausoleum are all included in this one, together with some fun outlandishness from—where else?—Faster Pussycat/Velvet Elvis.

The Charm Eyes  are a stunning new mesh line from IKON. There are always wearable demos available in the store (stamped with a small logo) but if you join the free group you’ll find the brown pair of these eyes out as a group gift in the store at the moment. I picked these up in my usual shades: glass, industrial, and hazel.

Yeah, that brocade is a bit busy, isn’t it? Even more so if I were to cam out and show you this lacy catsuit, so let’s go all-white for the background from now on. (It’s either that or I’ll be half-camouflaged…)

Oh hell YES XD

I was wandering around the Faster Pussycat/Velvet Elvis store earlier today, headed upstairs, and made a beeline for this Crow  coat first, swiftly followed by the Vampire Boy  lace catsuit. I made copies of the sleeves and attached them to my lower legs, because I felt it needed a bit of swish down there, too. Can’t beat a bit of swish, right?

The End of Time ankle boots  are by Ane and they’re out at The Chapter Four at the moment. Each pack contains two colours, each in both rigged and unrigged. Guys, we can wear the unrigged versions, but be aware that they won’t follow the line of your ankles and feet like rigged ones do, especially if you’re using poses or animations that twist or lock your ankles (like, uh, I’m doing right now, dancing along to Gaga like a lunatic in my photo skybox. *cough*)

I’ve tinted the feathery-floufy bits a bit darker, as they were initially a dark grey and I wanted them black. You’re going to need some underwear with this catsuit; not to preserve your modesty but instead to hint that you have something to hide at all! (Ah, don’t we boys just love being Ken dolls under it all, eh?) I’ve gone for an old favourite clothing layer sheer brief from Vitamen.

The final new release in this post is from The Stringer Mausoleum, at this month’s Genre. I loved these makeups, and ended up nabbing the fatpack.

  1. I randomly came upon this whilst looking for something else. I love it when I see my makeups on male avatars. I don’t make them all that often, but they do have to be one of the items, other than my mohawks and eyes, that I surprisingly see most often covered by males.

I am glad you enjoyed them enough to get all the colours.

I have been wearing these a lot myself =)

    1. Quite often, when it comes to events such as Genre, it’s the things like makeups and eyes that are the only things us guys can wear! Mesh, while fabulous, is slowly edging out those of us that don’t toe the gender-normative line when it comes to fashion. I have countless clothing layer corsets and female clothing layer/sculpt pants, but when it comes to the stunning mesh versions of these… they simply don’t fit, and that makes Skell sad :-( I’ll do my best with them, and sometimes I can get away with them, but the options for us freaky boys are getting more and more limited. So, thank you to you and other content creators who make things we can wear!

      1. I always try.

I like to keep the content of my store at about 70% unisex. I don’t often make an item directly for males in mind, it only happens every once in a while where I will think on something, and I don’t feel it works for both sexes.

While I do have a male store model for my ads, I tend to just take my ads with my own, as it is quicker. I should probably start getting out of that habit, haha.

Can’t much help with glitter encrusted male mesh pants, nor any of that stuff. I don’t often do clothing, unless it is for Petites.

I once had the thought to start a male store under my Malt, I was going to call it Tyrant King, and it was going to be full of glitzy and glamorous stuff. Not anything serious, just something on marketplace most likely.

He hadn’t got up the courage to got forth and do it yet, his puppet master is always busy with other things, it seems.

Maybe one of these days, before SL is no more.

        1. Tyrant King is a fantastic name for a store! If you do decide to get it going, let me know and I’ll definitely check it out :-)
